When I compare my initial days on e Chinacities with the current situation now in terms of Smart phones and different kind of social apps available which is more user friendly, I analyzed myself that being active on e Chinacities is getting difificult day by day, I dont know the reason why - may be I am use to smartphone or i feel easy to use app rather than using my laptop.. Anyhow..
what i want to know from you guys .. while using e Chinacties, I dont know some members here but i take their replies or comment or suggestion in a serious manner.. or there were times when we all were active together against wumao attack on e Chinacities..and as time is moving.. My pals are getting inactive here on eChinacities... so do you miss your pals here?
For me Guilinraf. thedude..sinobear..Scandinivan..
and few mores.they are my pals on eChinacities...i always read their replies and ignore others..But Guilinraf .. i miss your posting a lot...
P.S. this question is not for wumaos
it's the nature of being an expat in general. You get friends that come and go.
I agree though that there should be an app. Site works OK on a phone but not great.

Do you mean like, wait one minute or longer after clicking 'submit' on your phone so as not to reply several times?

yeah posting is a little buggy like that. repeat posts
Cant do any paragraph formatting either. All comes out as a single block of text even if you put spaces in.
Like i said it works ok, scales correctly. But could be better
The last I heard from GuilinRaf he was in Beijing, left Guilin, but it will be up to him to explain his absence. Even if my name is not in your list, I am not on the site as often as at the time you mention for two reasons.
1.- Difficulties with signing in. Many times when I do, the site replies my user name and password are not valid. And on a few occasions it allows me in without a problem.
2.- If this site is for seeking help with questions or situations, and also to offer help when we know the answer, it has become too confrontational for my taste.
would like very much also to hear others, I also miss the old times and some site friends too.

Yes you are one of them.. Thanks for refreshing my memory..
you said: " i always read their replies and ignore others " , Becareful with that !
u may find helpful answers ! don't ignore all of them
voltasingh:
Yes it is because i already spend enough time in China, therefore only people who spend more time here than me are worthy to listen ...

I've been on the site for 2 years, and I can't recall any good old days when questions didn't get any snarky, suspicious or confrontational responses.
Most old timers are long gone...but some still linger...like me....and Happy.
This site used to be good...now it's been inundated by trolls and wumao's with many accounts...and admincat gives them all free reign...but harmonizes profanity ...go figure.
Remember crimochina, nevermind, daben, Mr. Tibbles, ExpatJohn, Njord, kchur, DaqingDevil, GuilinRaf...PoutineDuFion....the list goes on and on...I miss the good old days.
Let's remember before Vicky there was vehruoglan.

Weird dude... you joined only a couple of months before I did, and I don't remember that troll....
Although, yeah, the other names are quite familiar. Not disappointed Kchur disappeared a while back.. but the others usually had something intelligent to say.
Admincat has always come and gone in spurts.

I know...just bringing up some of the old timers that are gone...there are still a few of us left...including you...obvioulsy.
There are no permanent friends and there are no permanent enemies.
we must move on ...
voltasingh:
It depends on your principles that you follow in your life.. For me..I have people in both list..
