Points?! They are the life I never had.

I have 2 VPN's on my computer already.  A third just isn't needed.  To me this is just a fun place to hang out while I work.  It keeps me grounded and aware that I am not the only foreigner who has BCDs every now and then.

I could not care less about them, never claimed a reward (none interest me), and I am here for the fun of it, to help others if I could, and amuze myself, besides learning a lot from others mistakes and daily occurences.

Maybe if rewards will be more enticing, like trip discounts, hotel accomodations, tours, etc, then I could become interested in accumulating points.  But as of today at least, it is the same if awarded points or not.

Points talked up by many. Hated by some. Guess how many fu-ks I give? It's less than one.

I don't care about points and believe that any kind of point system for forms is stupid, I am only here to kill time at work as my very stressfull job needs stress relief on epic proportions.

So all you point junkies can go pound sand as I don't care.

Do points matter if I use them as a way to fill accepted.  I can sit down at my computer, refresh this page and become way too excited that my number went up.  "Oh boy, I did good. Yes I did good.  Somebody liked my comment."

And plus one day I'm gonna cash them all in for like a million flashlights.... then I'll never have to be afraid of the dark again.

Not at all, if there is something that I want when I have enough then maybe I will use them, but if there were no points awarded I would still be here.

I really want that VPN, and I don't want to pay money. And when I get that, then more free stuff, even if it's stuff I don't particularly want. I grew up too poor to turn down free stuff for minimal effort.

Also, a while ago they announced that there would be beer in exchange for points and I'm willing to bet a few of you would change your tune if that ever went into place.

If I cared about points, I'd ask tons of inane questions everday that really have nothing to do with anything. Then you could call me Mattaya and my death defeat would be all worth while!

I also care little about points. In  fact I now visit and post on this site less than before. It needs freshening up somehow because most questions are now regurgitations of previous ones. I still enjoy some info on here but with some fresh ideas it could continue to grow and attract more participants.

I still believe you should be able to hover over the likes/dislikes and see the name of the person who voted. This would enhance to debate somewhat and also save wasted time when the dislike is obviously from one of the resident trolls.
