Traditional Chinese food is famous in China. Once you get out into the world, Chinese food takes on many forms, usually determined by the spices and other ingrediants available in the country where it is being represented.

However, when I travel, I've always made it a point to eat what the locals do to a greater degree, because this is what I've found they do best. I currently live in Hunan province, and I love the mixture of food which is available here. Of course, spicy food is at the top of the list. This has affected my taste somewhat when I travel to other parts of China, as I find other cuisine to be a little sweet to my taste.

But yes, I do love Chinese food, and eat it everyday. I tend to shy away from some of the more exotic dishes, and I don't think I'll ever aquire a taste for chicken's feet, or really, the feet of anything, lol!

I have met some foreigners. they dont really like chinese food. They feel taste is strange. Addtionally, chinese food is not 'high-end'fashion. If you go to lavish restaurant, there always serve western food, especially franch food.

It depends from where. I love rice, I love noodles and I love "xinjian fan". However, I am not too fond of the spicy stuff like Sichuan or Hunan food.

I love Chinese food.  It's all I eat here in China mostly, but I have a limited diet with meat and I am not that adventeurous.
I love the tofu and vegetable dishes, some chicken, and I almost live on seafood....sooo many wonderful choices.

I can't freakin' wait to eat like the locals. The only thing I'm truly scared of is the spicy spicy hot Sichuan hot pot.But I'm adventurous and plan on trying everything. Almost everything.

"Almost everything."

I was once presented with ducks feet, and told it was a great honor as it was very expensive. I made a great show of trying to nibble here and there, but when all was said and done, it went away from the table largely (as in 99.9%) uneaten. No more feet for me, thank you...

But you tried it.. I think that's important. I won't be trying dog (not willingly) and brain of anything, but I will try almost anything else. I won't promise to eat everything, but trying it won't kill me. Well, maybe it will, but...

Love the Chinese food but not the ones from China. Best Chinese food I ever had was on a tour to Nepal. It was simple egg-drop soup with noodles, I haven't found a match to its magnificent taste yet.
However street foods are surprisingly tastier than the restaurants.
