Q: Do you register your dog in Beijing?

Just curious because all the Chinese that I have been asking said that no need (as long as you don't leave your compound when you walk them)

They have Alaskan, Samo, Labrador, Golden Retriever, Husky, Chow Chow, etc - and they all living within 2nd and 3rd ring road.

I do know that the rule is people are not allowed to have a dog taller than 35cm from the ground if you are living within the 5th ring road in Beijing.

But, I'm just curious....
