Q: Do you see a lot drunk driving accidents during Chinese New Year?

Don't know about others, but every Chinese Spring Festival, I've witnessed really really bad car accidents. Blood, people screaming, cars completely busted up. I always found it somewhat surprising, because I thought on the actual night of Spring Festival, most people stayed at home and had dinner.

Well it's a celebration that continues for a whole week. Lots of boozing of course and with China's insanely bad reputation as drivers and lax road laws there are bound to be accidents. A sad fact of life i'm afraid.
