Q: Do you sometimes get paranoid that your iphone is being used as a listening device?

Heard all this crazy talk about how iphones can easily be used as listening devices and cameras. I don't have anything to hide but that still creeps me out.

They can also collect any data on them: contact info, text history, etc.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. If anyone listens in on what I am talking about, all I can say is, good luck staying awake. Man I'm boring.

When it comes to privacy, phones should of course be on the list as they will track our movements pretty accurately. But if you are paranoid about it, then also all the cameras, using credit cards etc. How many of us use a plastic card for access to work or home.

Always remember. Just because you suffer from paranoia doesn't mean you are not being followed.

Same here! They will get the same conversations again and again and again (Do you like China? Do you like Chinese food? Are you married? What is  your favorite color? Can I be your friend....? etc.)

A: Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever
A:Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever foreigners do.  I spent 15 years in China but I wouldn't say there are that many don'ts....Don't assume that many people speak English though and learn some Chinese. Don't speak much about politics unless you want to praise Chinese system.  -- Natalie363
