OOOP s
I did it again
I got up and turned on the PC to see what was new in the world only to see one of those questions that
help with a healthy bowl movement
And true to form I let fly with a tirade
2 hours latter I get to thinking was it really warranted?
the guy is just trying to earn a living all be it wu mao a time
This is not the first time I have done this and wonder if I should take a chill pill before posting
anybody else get guilt attacks ?
That's why, in addition to a microphone and webcam, computers should come with a breathalyzer to determine if you're sober enough to post.
It's easy to ignore some trolls but sometimes, sometimes one just has to unleash the beast within. I'm with you on this one.
I do sometimes when I've misinterpreted something that another poster is trying to say then post inappropriately. Generally speaking, no I don't.
I suffer from zero guilt for what I do on here.......... mostly I use it for entertainment............. whenever there is a real question, it gets a real answer, and that's a good
The entertaining stuff comes when you see a silly question............... they deserve the answers they get, and from what I have seen here, there is no shortage of inspiring thoughts after a "silly" question.
No need to chill, and no need to hold back when pissed!!!!!!!!!!!
I suffer from second-hand poster's remorse all the time
Traveler:
Admin, I don't care what everybody says. You're OK in my books.
Oops. Now I feel remorse...
The easy fix for this would be to ask the admin for the right to delete the posts we write. I'm sure there's a way? Or would there be other problems?
Traveler:
Nope. I think the posts should stick around to haunt you forever.
Sometimes I feel remorse, but I never let it bother me too much.
There was nothing wrong with the post in question. It is our duty, as citizens of the world, to point out to idiots that they are, indeed, idiots. Often, they don't realise it until others point it out.
That's why we should just get together on a Teamspeak or Ventrilo server.
Sometimes. I don't like chewing people out, so i try to keep it as civil as possible. I hate personal attacks.
Sometimes i think we go a little too far with the negativity, and we're too quick to jump on the Chinese / wumao bandwagon whenever someone makes a spelling or grammar mistake.
You know, most foreigners in China aren't native English speakers! I've been hanging around my college in China long enough to know that there are tons of people from Africa, the middle east, and all over Europe.
Go to http://www.cucas.edu.cn and you'll see most applicants aren't from western counties. They use international QQ too...
I'm a little worried that newcomers might be too scared to sign up, especially if their English isn't up to par, for fear of being called a wumao or something. I'm okay with wumaos posting, because we can easily crap on their idiotic arguments.
Hulk:
I typed this on the phone, so... bad formatting/grammar/etc. WATCH OUT, HULK'S A WUMAO!!11111111///////slashslashslashslash
Shining_brow:
Personally, I don't mind non-English posters... unless they're trying to be wumao-ish, or ignorant.
Well i've endured months and months of accusations of being a wumao in the past, and my English am very good, I just don't necessarily see things quite the same as some folk on this forum. That's allowed though, right?
Also done my share of 'getting at' people (I think 'attack' is a bit strong), but that gets boring after a while. Now I just log on for the light entertainment of it all. Still get the odd attack though. According to one fella I think i'm a 'really great guy' (the missus might have something contrary to say about that) and my generous view of the Chinese undermines others and makes them feel guilty when they vent. Well shucks, I am sorry. I guess you just can't win, can you?
SMC,LRT:)
Sometimes. Especially when we call a post a troll or a wu mao, it could be that they're just idiots....
philbravery:
yeah I think the same way about the latest episode that started this post
although I think calling them a Troll is better than calling them a idiot
Sometimes... but more in the context of "crap, now more stupid is going to follow this post...'. , like a never-ending story you just stepped into... whereas, if Ihad've just let it go, I'd retain some small amount of sanity... (I've got this on-going topic just like this....<sigh>)
Shining_brow:
Oh, Phil... I just found your post... nah, it was fine :)
No, I never feel bad about the things that I write here. The reason is that I sincerely mean everything I write. That and I never post drunk. I would have absolutely no problem saying anything I've ever written here, word for word, to another person's face.
au contraire. I don't get in many flames (except with matty), but often I regret not cutting someone to ribbons, like 981.
