Q: Do you think MNCs have double quality standards ?

Do you think that MNCs have double quality standards when they sell to the Chinese market and when they sell abroad ?

Meaning that they have lower standards for the products they sell locally to the Chinese market while they have a higher quality standard to those that are for export ?

It is mostly a matter of economics.  Just because one of your clients (the US for example) demands very high standards on their goods, doesn't mean other clients (China for example) will have the same requirements.

So for the demanding customer, you charge a higher price and produce higher quality goods.  For clients looking for a bargain, you produce goods that are lesser quality but still serviceable.
