Q: Do you think people who post copy and pasted articles that are not relevant, should be banned?

Not banned but if they post irrelevant questions/comments then they should be deleted. Problem is that asking n is not very active, except for censoring comments on articles

Nope.

The interweb is is restricted enough here.

How can we complain about internet restrictions if we want to restrict it more?

Yeah im with hotwater. Pretty sure youre talking about icnif and I agree hes annoying. But yeah delete zero hedge posts, dont ban him.

I dont think hes a bad guy just maybe a nutjob and definitely eccentric.

Still think possible robot. Like an adaptive chatbot gradually figuring out how language works.

No. You could probably argue a lot of what gets posted here isn't relevant to China but it still (mostly) contributes to making the site a more interesting place IMO.

Some of the weird threads can be quite entertaining I think, the others... well just ignore them.

No. You're obviously referring to Incif's posts from H0 etc. But no, not banned. At worst, deleted.

As said above:

a) don't read them if you're not interested.

b) ask them to be deleted if they're really OT (which, you'll find, many actually ARE relevant to China).

c) why would you want someone banned just because you don't understand what they're writing?

d) quite obviously, some OTHER posts are very relevant, and quite useful! Banning them would just be silly.

e) as said before, if we truly believe in a freer internet, such a ban would be incredibly hypocritical!

You get points for being the highest voted

you should lose points for being the lowest voted

ie the most down votes

I'll go one step further, I think anyone posting an irrelevant topic should be hanged!

I think we can all agree that blood perhaps is too precious a thing these days. The internet is serious business so if someone posts something critical of SAFEA or Irrelevantly copy and pasted than yeah they should be put to the sword.

bar none

Shining_brow:

I'm slightly confused... first you say that blood is important, and then you want to put people to the sword...

Which is it???

(also, isn't rope a valuable commodity as well?)

I think, mandatory IQ test should be required, before access to the keyboard is granted.

Despite my rigid requirement, Expat and Dokken should be allowed to complete IQ test together.

It's annoying sometimes, but not ban worthy. I don't really mind icnif77. He's weird as fuck, and I can't understand him half the time, but the only people who should be banned are idiots like Vicky and that Peruvian.

expatlife26:

yeah I agree. I can disagree with what icnif77 says but I still think he's a real person saying it.

that peruvian guy and cub also are clearly just baiting people trying to spread hostility.

fuck that mean spirited shit. I dont care for chinese women either but if people do they're in the right place. Not like being attracted to chinese women is a fail on the test of masculinity like this guy makes it to be

copy and pasting articles on the forum by a particular unnamed poster, attempts to do 3 things:

1) make himself look clever, which it dosen't

2)irritate people, which it does

3)stifle opinion he does not agree with, by making everything unreadable.

He has shutdown threads he does not like, making then unreadable. it's not discourse. he looks to hinder discussion.

i read the adfvn trading website. do i force everybody else to read it, being so arrogant in not caring if most people don't want to read it? no i would say here is a website you might like, not be sad and annoying enough to copy and paste articles from there in an unrelated forum

expatlife26:

yeah you know that's a good point, that is trollish. He will take a thread and just totally hijack it with zerohedge shit.
