Opportunities for what?  And for whom?

If the question is directed to foreigners in China, I would say that foreigners do have more opportunities to be English teachers here than back at home.  I would even dare to say that at least half of those allowed to teasch here, would not be able to find a job as teachers back home.

In job opportunities outside English teaching, the chqnces of employment are about "Zero", even if fluent in Mandarin, because the pay scale will not really attrach too many applicants, and there are thousands of Chinese college graduates each year looking for jobs that never materialize.  And they must end up working as sales clerks, or waitress / waiter at restaurnt and bars, or tea houses.

And my plans for my future life in China are considered by me to be a very personal thing, not open to public disclosure.  But I am willing to say that I do plan to have a happy and rich life, and that I am very willing to share some of my knowledge with others if allowed.

Not even close, unless you have some friends in key government positions. Otherwise, you can either be an English teacher, or bust your back in another industry for 60 hours a week plus unpayed overtime for no chances of upward mobility and far lower pay than a manual labourer in a union back home.
