I think she has super-speedy nails, and she cuts them really loudly and during the middle of the day when it is silent in the office.
All I can do is just cringe and pray for it to end as soon as possible. Is it normal that this bothers me? Or should I start waxing my legs in the office?
Ha ha ha, I never seen that ^^ Maybe she plays ukulele ? I started to learn to play ukulele, and I've to keep my nails cut real short to fret the strings properly.
I don't know how you can clip your nails loudly... Unless you're Wolverine, he needs some diamond-blade wire cutter.
I once went to look at an apartment with an agent. While waiting for the landlord in the lobby of a quite nice apartment building the agent took off his socks, but his feet on the table and cut his toenails. Of course leaving the clippings in a nice pile on the table.
Don't work so. But I did see a guy sitting on a park bench the other day, cutting away. And my immediate thought was, "he could do that at home". I sure wouldn't go to the park to trim nails.
Most locals have a nail cutter and a ear digger in their handbags or hooked up together with their keys. Whenever they have free time they will clip nails (fingers and toes included) or dig ears. Of course nose picking is normal too, with their pinkies. All these are normal ECA locals use to while away time where waiting in line for interviews or buying an iPhone. Nasty habits.

Be precise: they pick their noses with the freshly cut pinky nail.
It's normal, most people I know carry a nail clipper in their keychain.
yeah, It was very common in my previous work place. and the cleaning ear wax with the key attachment, throw away with nails and put back in pocket... priceless.
It is a Chinese characteristic. Prior to mainland, worked for major Chinese company in US. While not napping at lunch, cutting nails....shapnaral throughout the office.
