Q: Does anyone have a douban account? Recommendable?

I've been hearing people referrencing a site called douban a lot. I checked it out and can't really make sense of it. Is it a social networking site? Is it for listening to music? Or for finding out about events? Is it worth it to open an account?

If you haven't made sense about it now you will never make sense about it. Kind of like if it hasn't happened now it won't ever happen. Just stick to the lakes and the rivers that your use to. No need going into unfamiliar territory just to take a look. If it is a site for listening to music or social networking site there are tons of those. It's a site that is not recommended for those specific reasons mentioned. Good Luck!
