Q: Does anyone have a sample reference letter for getting employment in Shanghai?

I need a sample reference letter for getting a work permit in Shanghai. I really would really like a sample from someone who has used it and it has worked.

what kind of a work permit?  a work permit issued under the aegis of the Foreign Expert Bureau for academics, etc., or a work permit issued under the aegis of the Foreign Expert Bureau Alien Work Registration division?  They different in scope and format.

Have you worked in China before? If so, you will need a Letter of Release and a Letter of Recommendation. More particulars, please.

You will need them for sure for your next job -- no questions about it.  Are you a teacher here or do you work in a company?  Can I ask?
