I am looking for a management internship with a multinational. I have found many web sites that facilitate internships, but it seems that you have to pay for the service. Does anyone have any advice about how to find an internship/traineeship in China?

I would contact the multinationals directly.
They wont advertise them on their situations vacant page, but there should be a contact email for their HR department.
It might take hundreds of emails to get even a single answer, but hey, that's the nature of the game .
Hi!
You can also try this one: www.intuuchina.com, they might find something suitable according to your interests....
Cheers!
This site offers them.
You can contact them directly.
www.cucas.edu.cn as well, if you're studying here now.
Why does everyone need a website to do everything now? Its called leg work, get to it. Besides you do NOT want to do an internship at some place actually looking for an intern. These people know the deal, and it china its just a way to take advantage.
take some initiative. Decide what indsutry your looking for, spark up the old google, and make some cold colds, send a whack of emails, hell go to them if you are nearby. Show them why having an intern would be good for them.
i think there have 2 sites one is echinacities and anather is veryeast.cn(that site in chinese, you should used translator)..
If you are a student in China ask your professors. A former classmate of mine landed an amazing internship at Citibank through our Chinese Art and Culture teacher. The internship later helped him land a sweet ass job at an agricultural company
Search for foreign companies located in China, find their HR email and send general emails
Go to networking events wherever you live, meet people talk to people
Check job ads online and contact the contact person directly/through LinkedIn
Translate your CV to Chinese and upload it to Chinese job websites
Ask anyone and everyone you know if they know anything
I did all this and more before landing the job I have now, as well as landing my first shit internship. You need to put in work, effort and have a little luck to succeed here. Good Luck.
intern ship is better if searched directly with HR of the companies..
others are just worthless..
saying from experience
job sites usually have positions for interns. ganji.com has a tab for internships and there's a lot in my field. don't know how easy it is to get them though but it doesn't hurt to try.
