Q: Does anyone know anything about the Shanghai Better English School?

The Shanghai Better English School is based in Shanghai and have now another school in Wuxi. Was wondering if anyone knows anything about them or has had any dealings with them in the past.

It sounds like its just another one of those training schools. For one it's not a public school. I can tell that just from the name. Most of the training centers run the same way. 1 on 1 teaching/tutoring. You can teach at the center, at the students' house or at a coffee scene.

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
