Q: Does anyone know what or how to make an APA style formated lesson plan?

I've been asked to make an APA Lesson Plan. Can anyone give me a link or tell me how to do this please...not the lesson plan, I got that part. Just need to know the format.

try this:

http://www.landersp.com/public/dte/coe_lesson_plan_template_2011.pdf

TBH i think places asking for lesson plans are BS because all they are doing is trying to copy from you.

and then they do - badly

The will then try to replicate your classes, and again fail miserably from a foreign POV

ask some of your Chinese colleagues if they have to do this and ask to see them - i am sure they don't have to.

I do my own lesson plans - for myself, and if asked give them only the bones of it, so it doesn't make any sense

:

Yea, that link you sent is basically what I needed.

Thanks

Just 1 lesson? Is it for a job interview? Then it may be worth the effort.
If they ask for more, then it's as Sorrel says: Probably intended for copy or resale.

APA has to do with writing essays I believe (trying to recall my High School and college days). Maybe they/you misunderstood 'APA style lesson plan'.

So instead of replying individually, I'll do it here.

So an APA style lesson plan is an actual lesson plan but in a, readable, APA style format.

For instance the one I did was a 1000 words, APA format. This means that I had to list references and use Times New Roman, 12 point font.

Thanks for all the help.

You wrote 1000 words about a one-class lesson plan?

Seems like they're looking to rip off your lesson. Collect the money up front. 1000 words?!? WTF?

I love all the comments here...

I was paid 200 USD for this "project" and yes, I wrote 1000 words for a single lesson plan. The freelancing is going great, actually. This project took me only a few hours to do and yes, I've already been paid. I was paid before I even started. Also, this wasn't for someone inside China. It was for an educator in the USA

Thanks for all the comments.

I don't do lesson plans...since I've given up on a meaningful career as a teacher here, and am planning my retreat from the Jade Empire.
