Q: does anyone know where I can get an English version of the Witcher 3?
where can I get a copy of the Witcher 3 in English not Chinese??(in Shenzhen)
this why I bought a PS 4 so I could play the Witcher 3 and what do you know every other PS 4 game is in English apart from the Witcher 3
Can't you buy it as a download? I haven't had a console in years but I played Bioshock infinite on my PC a couple years ago. Just bought online. There must be a way to do that with your PS4.

You know I felt the same way before, but honestly with modern stuff it doesn't really make a huge difference. At least with bioshock I bought it through a program called steam.
So if my computer breaks or I need to free up space I can just download it again. I mean really the only advantage to having a disc would be savings a few hours of download time and I guess as an adult I have the patience to deal with that.
Either way good luck. One of my friends at home is a big-time gamer he says witcher III is really amazing.

My justification is: if I have a console, I'm only wasting time (which currrently ought to be spent on my thesis) on playing games, on a device that has only 1 purpose. playing games.
At least with my PC, I can justify having it, cos it's what I'm doing my 'research' and writng on.
Not that I've actually played any games for... a long time! (and, of late, it'd been MMO's - I might get into Skyrim, Elder Scrolls Online, or LoTRO again.. just for the 3d effects.
and, I really hope you just chose to bypass the satirical response I gave to expat... I'd agree, either do it on Steam, or go to HK.

I found a copy in Shenzhen I will buy on Saturday, its 420 rmb it comes from Hong Kong.
On Steam for the PC master race.
In HK for the beta console players.

ahh come on...I know youre kidding around but it's not that big a difference. Modern PC gaming = great. Modern Console gaming = great.
I've only played games on a computer for the past couple years since my ps3 broke.
I prefer the keyboard/mouse to a controller.
But consoles at least you don't have to worry about compatibility or whether it will run. Xbox game will run on an Xbox.
If you're on any kind of budget console all the way.
Game graphics are all so fucking good these days I know you can get better from a high end PC than a console but I still feel like PS3/360 graphics are good enough.
It's not like the old days where the story/gameplay is let down by the hardware.

I went and picked up the Witcher 3 yesterday I played a bit last night,and WOW this game is going to be very good.
next on my list will be the new Batman game and No Mans Sky
The women's underwear in that game isn't realistic for that time period.
