Q: Does anyone live here with asthma?
I suffer from asthma and am from US living in Shanghai. After about 13 years old, I didn't need my inhaler anymore, but after about 2 years of living in China I needed to start taking asthma pills because I couldn't stop wheezing at night when lying down. Now after being here 5 years this is a big reason I want to leave. The medicine is expensive- almost 200 kuai per round and about every 2 weeks I need to buy. But if things don't work out at home jobwise, I might want to come back. Does anyone have asthma and how do you deal with it here? Should I get one of those purifiers for like more than 10,000 , do those really work?
Why don't you get medicine for asthma shipped from USA to Shanghai?
I do the same with insulin.
Sometimes, I go home and bring loads (2-y supply) with me to China and fridge it.
and pints! I want my jackets soon!
