I doubt there would be consistent surfable waves here. The beaches that I checked out here I didn't see a single person even attempting to go near the waters. Surfing is not one of those highly sought out adventurous cool thing to do in China. I think people in China would rather play Mahjong or drink tea and sit and talk to each other.  

Ask an English teacher where he surfs when he isn't teaching or modeling. 

I have tried to find out similar info but I think the best you will find is some swell that is surfable after a typhoon. Have checked out a lot of photos and different websites and have yet to see anything that I would call a decent shaped wave. Surfable yes good surf very unlikely.
