Q: does china have crime scene investigation?

does the police do any real investigsting into crimes or do they just arrest someone according to "confuscious logic" and then execute them.
i have read some stories where the trial and punishment were handed out within a 10 days of the crime being commited. do they know all the facts so quickly?

I've done quite a few dealings with a couple of police departments and PSB.  This is false.  While things do progress quicker than in the U.S., Very seldom does a traffic ticket get processed out in ten days.     And serious cases are automatically appealed and retried.  (Such as capital punishment cases)   I doubt they convict the wrong person any more often than the U.S. court system. But as to your question, yes they do.  (I was an officer for 15 years)

they are pretty good in what they do. When we got robbed, the investigator asked me why I closed the door after the thieves came. I was told it was damaging when taking shoe prints. I very "politely" give them my shoes so that they can see which one was mine and which one was the thieves ones.

I think CCTV was going to do a CSI Shanghai, but with the new ban because tv is too entertaining, the project was canceled.
