Q: Does China have a private light plane industry?

They make about everything however I can't remember seeing any light aircraft or helicopters

there are plenty of Business Men with money these days and you would think it would be more convenient

or maybe crop dusters

Anybody got any thoughts?

Since the PLA Air Force controls the air space in China it can be quite hard to obtain air clearance in China for private practices. This however is slowly changing with the rich people looking to buy private jets as the space opens up slowly.

I know at Shenzhen airport you can helicopter your way to either Macau or Hong Kong.
