Q: Does David Icke has followers in china?
Not that I am aware of, but I just wanted to state that I found out where you got that picture in your AV. I was looking for pictures for my speedo question and saw that the picture you are using was also available.....so I know that's not you, but someone wearing Speedo's...I guess we do have something in common if you like SPeedo's...athough I would never wear the type that guy is wearing...lol!!

Well I'm sure among expats here you'll find followers. Isn't he the guy that thinks the world is run by lizard people? Don't the CCP want to run the world? Are the lizard people really in charge? I agree, Dick Cheney does has a bit of a reptile look to his face, but ************ looks more like a dog than a lizard.

well, 17 books pbblished and almsot every conference he did got booked out: it seems that a lot of people are taking him seriously....

I've never met anyone who's heard of him (in China). I once tried to explain his theory to a Chinese friend (in very bad Chinese) and she just looked at me like I had two heads. I highliy recommend Jon Ronson's book "Them" in which he investigates extremists and weirdos like Icke and tries to find out the truth behind the Bilderberger group. A really entertaining read, but not available in bookstores in China as far as I know.
I've found in Islamic countries like Pakistan and Malaysia, similar weird conspiracy theories tend to catch like wildfire. Blame something on elite Jewish families and everyone will believe it, you've got a bestseller.
I don't see how it would catch on here in China, though. If he blamed things on the "west" or "foreigners", maybe (maybe the Justin character would be the fan), but he's got a pretty intricate view of who's behind the world's problems, one that would require some in-depth understanding of European/US history, and I can't see it catching on here even if language barrier weren't an issue.
