Q: Does "speed dating" exist in China?

I was just reading about speed dating (in Malcolm Gladwell's book "Blink"), which got me thinking: does this kind of thing exist in China, or is it inherently incompatible with Chinese culture? What about "blind dates"?

They have the wedding market : Mom and Pop make a card with all the stats about you (the important things in life : age, income, diplomas, weight, height) and go to a place with other parents who did the same. Then the parents negotiates with each other to see who matches who.

Fast, convenient, and it saves all the troubles of courtship.
