I had to advise her it was for the best. Slurping noodles with her beard dangling in the bowl wasn't a pretty sight.

Actually a good question, because Chinese girls are very ignorant about shaving.  They believe if they shave their armpits and xiaomeimeis  the hair will grow back much thicker, like beards.

Personally I love the sight of a shaved beaver and has made it my mission to educate and shave as many Chinese girls as I can.  Viki, are you up for a shave?

Viki87:

I shaved my whole body already.

My girlfriend keeps it reasonable down there and under the pits. It's got to be more healthy to keep some hair, right? It's there for a reason.

I did some field research on the Beijing subway over the summer. It's about 30/70 shave/not.

Valuable input there, mate

Although I'm single at the moment, I only date women who take care of their bodies and appearance. There is no excuse for not trying to look your best. Aim for the top always.

Maybe your standards are too high, that is why you are single.  I believe that if all else fails, lower your standards

Not really. I don't see the need to be in a relationship unless I am happy. Being in a relationship for the sake of being in a relationship is foolish.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
