Q: Does your local beer store rotate the stock?

I have mentioned this to the beer store that I frequent ..... think he did it for a day or two...but now I often take out a bunch of warm beer to get to the cold stuff ....  little things, and customer satisfaction should be high on any businesses priority list.

Do you think? keeping the customer happy would slow down the number of failed stores in your neighborhood, and potentially increase the traffic in the store.

For me, these little stores are far more convenient, often cheaper (than walmart or vanguard or ole, or carrefour or any other big chain store)...

I often wonder how old some of the stuff that does not sell well could be in the back of them coolers.

I don't think expiration dates here mean much to people, let alone business owners.  I've become fairly vigilant at checking expiration dates since I've lived here.  I dare you to look at the packaged sausages!

pffft, i WISH Chinese either didn't care about expiration dates, or knew what they meant. I just sent some expensive goat's milk baby milk powder, and the receiver is livid. The manufacture date was September 2014, and it will expire in Sep. 2017…
What's the point of measuring the "freshness" of a vacuum-preserved canister? It's still good for more than 2 years. Goat's milk isn't a mass-produced/consumed milk; it's only for babies with cow milk allergy. That's why it has more lengthy expiration date, and sits on the shelf longer.
But of course, the 28euro sticker price puts it way higher on the "magical good-quality Dutch milk" ranking. Retards, retarded complaints, gets on my nerves.
I'm not sure if the cold beer issue is one of incorrect restocking, as it is one of the fridge getting back to temperature. You know they switch it off most of the day, and don't put it back on until opening time. Beers at the back will cool down faster.

How would you know if Chinese beer had gone bad? It doesn't taste so good if it is fresh, does it?

I do notice stores playing games with the stock. Not just with beer but say they have a bunch of dented cans they'll put the dented ones in the cooler. Or if its nothing something refrigerated they put the dented ones in the front.
