Q: Does your washing machine tie your clothes into a big knot?
Mine does. If there was ever a need to tie all your clothes into a big knot, this machine would be perfect.
You have to learn to be more like the Chinese, tie your clothes in a knot before washing them, the washer will untie them, makes sense? TIC.
You probably cant read it because its a cheap chinese washing machine, but you probably have unwittingly hot the " secret, fire escape" button. It happened to me, no big deal. Rookie mistake. Just remember where it is, for when the blaze comes, having all your clothes tied together makes an enviable rope. Just tie it to the railing and escape to freedom.
Thank you Sanyo washing machine! Another life saved.

OMG the chinese are geniuses.... last time i had a fire i had to sit there and self tie all my clothes together. what will they think of next?
thats because the chinese think spinning clothes just around is enough to wash them
yes, and its a b!tch to untie sometimes. i bought these oversized weird plastic balls with jagged edges to throw in the wash with the clothes. it helps separate them. it works a bit, but not a complete fix.
Yes it does. But for once I would say that China abides the laws of physics. It seems there is an even greater tendency for things to get properly tied together if it is some of the wifes clothing that is easy to rip apart.
Perhaps this is a problem of top loading machines. It never happened for me with front loading machines.
It's convenient though, just yank on a sleeve and you have all your laundry out of the machine.
Scandinavian:
there are other heavy mysteries in the laundry. how come the machine can put all items into a duvet cover. also very handy. but this also happens with front loaders so not related to China as such.
Mine does this too, plus tears random holes and removes underwiring from bras!
Get a front-loader for around 3K RMB...it also heats the water for whites. Or, get an Ayi for 80RMB/wk who wlll use the rock and river technique
I had 3 or 4 different washing machines and never encountered this. From the sound of it, I'm pretty glad I didn't.
No, she dries them, folds them and packs them neatly in my wardrobe. Just don't tell her I call her my washing machine.
Scandinavian:
what, you call your cleaning lady .... the washing machine?
mArtiAn:
No Scan, the cleaning lady I call Beryl. Odd name for a Chinese woman, I know, but that's her name none the less. Huang Ling Beryl.

yeah. didn't know it has that extra function but, what can i do? it's just a machine and nothing is perfect
