Q: Is dream interpretation the same here as it is for us?
Dreaming that someone you know dies is typically interpreted as you fearing to lose that friendship.
Dreaming you're naked in a public place reflects certain insecurities you have about yourself.
etc etc etc
Is dream interpretation the same in China?
My GF is always dreaming, every night she either have dreams or nightmares, hard for me to tell because what she can remember is always tragic and very little. But she is always "interpreting" them. So I would say that yes, they do interpret dreams, but based on their customs and traditions, so dreams may mean something different for them than for us.
. As an example, when my hand itches, I think someone will give me money soon, to my GF it means my hands are dirty and need to be washed.
And I seldom dream, but when I do, they are on living color, 3D, surround Delby sound, and sometimes "wet". Well, what can I do, I am not perfect ! 
My gf dreams every night and many times she has nightmares. Once she had a dream of her father killing her mother and then she killed her father....I asked her if her father was abusive to her mother and she said yes...but when I tried to explain what I felt this dream meant she seemed to not understand.
Maybe some people here in China like to analyze dreams....but my gf usually just wants to forget them.
Highly unlikely I wouldn't say it is the same by any standards.....
