yes . since the day it started service i think . as well as Google drive . however Microsoft cloud storage service named skydrive works very well . that's my recommendation.

ohChina:

Very sorry from reading other posts I think I made it wrong. I'm sorry I didn't check it before answering this. Actually I never checked since I heard it was blocked immediately. The Great Firewall tightens and loosens from time to time.

If you download it outside of the mainland then it will work fine...like most VPN's.

My company tried to get me to download and join 2 years ago when I was here it it was cock blocked like so much other random shit here.

I downloaded it after I was back home and now it works like a charm here...even without the VPN.

Seems fine now. I can access the web site and the desktop service works as well as the android app.

I think generally the web site has not been accessible, but the client has always worked for me, so once set up there are no problems

It's not banned. You can also use 115 online storage (115 网盘) .

I use it pretty frequently (through OS X if that matters). I have a VPN, but I don't need to turn it on to use it. I don't think it's banned, or maybe it's "selectively" banned depending on your location.

Hi, you can use dropbox without a VPN, but you need to modify the default IP addresses. You only need to change the following file

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS

Open the file in a text editor and add these lines at the end:

# Dropbox
174.36.30.73 www.dropbox.com
174.36.30.71 www.dropbox.com

hmmm,,, I'm not much of a computer geek, but it works for me. I think I just use the app though, not the website. I don't even use it much though.  It came loaded on my Samsung Note II purchased in HK, but seems to work fine in Guangdong.

(no vpn)
