So, he said a few words that the Chinese wanted to hear, and therefore ASSUMED it meant something else... and got sucker-punched for it...

 

HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA.....

 

Also, the idea of saying X but then doing Y is what the Chinese do all the time... serves them right! (very much like "No, we won't build up those islands you also say are yours - never ever ever...".... )
