Q: Eating More Local: Healthy Snacks?

I want to eat more locally, and since I am in need of a better snack variety I'd love to know what everyone recommends for healthy snacks that I can conveniently take to work.  So far I have found the joys of mini mangostinis, hawthorne fruit leather, onion flavored crackers, and candied walnuts, any other suggestions?

I eat fruit every day, to me inexpensive.Cracker, candied walnuts not healthy. Raw vegetables, broclli, califlower, peppers, cut carrots into strips my favourite, Look up some veggie dip recipes

Awesome as candied walnuts are, they are tragically not healthy. I'd go with fruit and unprocessed nuts.

Eat guazi all day. You'll neither feel hungry or like snacking. You'll be too occupied trying to get the little critters out of the shells.

You can't get any more local than that.
