Apparently, it won't spread (that fast), because Africans don't travel much, but at Chinese border yesterday CCteli showed they measure body temperature of people entering China.

Ebola is that nasty flesh eating disease, right? Gestation time is short, but carriers die off to quickly to contaminate many people. It will remain localized around its source in Africa; there's no risk of it becoming an 'established' disease anywhere else. Makes for good xenophobic fear-mongering, that's for sure.

Apparently it can only be passed through bodily fluids. It's not an airborne virus so the chances are small.

What's reported are isolated cases. I'm wondering what else hasn't been reported yet. You know how it is, governments try not to report widespread diseases until it's really out of control. Look at what happened when SARS hit Asia. By the time it was reported, entire towns were already contaminated. 

Wasn't the woman in HK cleared of ebola ? Did I miss a news story here ? 

Anyway. As hand hygiene is a way to prevent spread. I think it is safe to say that China is screwed. WHO recommends cleaning of pig farms regularly, and we know how that will turn out in China, either not done or we get poisonous pork.
