SARCASM, Sarcasm? really? Since I've come to China, my sarcasm has skyrocketed. In fact I don't even think skyrocket correctly expresses this surge, it more like orgasmed. It was fine before, because it kept getting it's buttons pushed and then it finally exploded. And now it's sensitive and twitches to every annoyance

But you're right, you can tell a lot of people in general, online, it's a veil that protects us all, there are many articles about psychology and the internet. It can be super productive or self destructive take your pick.

Oh honey, I wouldn't say anything here to anyone that I wouldn't say to your face. You want face to face feedback come to Chengdu. I'll tell you if you're being an idiot anytime you want

Then you are good shape here. Not being sarcastic is only for those people who are closer to you than a swimsuit made out of duc-tape.

I love when speaking to Chinese is like talking to Sheldon Cooper, they just don't get sarcasm. 

The issue is sarcasm is only entertaining if they get it. And most Chinese do not.

Sarcasm can be hurtful. Skillfully applied sarcasm can be funny. Intelligent sarcasm can be used as a teaching tool. Sarcasm between friends is good sarcasm and enhances the relationship. Sarcasm between strangers is not good and can cause a chasm of doubt. Sarcasm between enemies can only hinder reconciliation and cause pain.
