I just posted a comment to an article on the main site and I got a message saying I earned one eChina coin for posting the comment. What are they for?

It's probably like getting points here, they can't be used for anything. Over 2 years, not one rain coat. With the points I have, I should get an all expenses paid night in a KTV.

I haven't heard of any coins but as some of the above posters have said they are probably pretty worthless anyway. Maybe they are the same as points...
