Q: English speaking Media Opportunities in Nanning?

Does anyone know what foreign-language (English speaking) media companies and/or opportunities might be like in Nanning?

In my case, I have experience in (english language) television and mainly radio. both 'on-air' and primarily writing and production. I would put myself in marketing and advertizing too as well as related website and other new media productions.

I'm somewhat familiar with english-language media companies and opportunities in Beijing and Shanghai but can anyone tell me about english-speaking media in Nanning? I would love to consider living in a beautiful Southern city like this.

If you can speak Mandarin your chances of getting a spot in media is high. Other than that I would say it would be a slim chance. I'm sure they have many people vying for that spot so just work hard at it.

Just send any media companies there your comments on the 'Why do so many Chinese parents teach their young children to be afraid of Blacks?' thread. You could use it as the highlight of your portfolio?
