Q: Ever attempted to reciprocate disgusting behavior?
Was at the hospital yesterday, waiting on a bench, when a middle aged woman next to me suddenly launched two earth-shattering gas-tsunamis. She just lifted her butt slightly to my side and then fired away. I really felt like it was a show of force, almost like gorillas pounding their chests.
I stared at her for about a full minute, but she either didn't notice or just chose to ignore me. I can't tell you how tempted I was to reciprocate, just to see if she'd react. Unfortunately, I felt I was more likely to toss my cookies than pass gas. And if all I emitted were a couple of weak squeaks, I'd clearly lose face to her blaring rockets.
I know it's "stooping to their level," but has anyone ever either done or faked repeating someone's gross behavior in their faces just to see if you could get their attention?
Also, this is really just an old generation kind of thing, isn't it?
No but really when push comes to shove I push back!

I doubt it would even phase them. I know I've made the big hacking sound (you know, right before they spit out a big wad) after someone else did it....did even get a reaction. And of course in some circumstances if you did reciprocate, you'd probably be doing it "wrong" or not with Chinese characteristics. My example is the shoving that happens when getting on/off buses, trains, subways, ferries, etc. I usually get dirty looks when I shove back....like I'm just supposed to take it? Have yet to experience any gas-tsunamis.....not sure what my reaction will be. 
I was asked by a student if i piss and spit on in public. I said "no, but why would it matter, the locals do it all the time," and he said "but you are a foreigner."
So if most think like him, then we are held to a different standard.

That said, if you consider how many Chinese people there are and how many you see spitting and pissing, there are still plenty who do not piss and spit outside. I have known several Chinese friends who do neither and are embarrassed by those who do. So it's not a complete double standard. -_-
remember where we are. chinese are heavily indoctrinated and flat out ignorant (in general). their programming creates a fantasy world . whatever chinese people do is good . when a chinese person does something bad their programming deletes it from their memory.
in light of the dumb puck that put his hands on a chinese women a few days ago i would greatly appreciate it if all foreigners be on their best behavior. especially blacks. if you cant handle china please leave. for all the other foreigners who have to endure here please understand that your actions have a bearing on how all other foreigners are treated.
if a small poodle came up to you and was barking at you, pissing/ shitting on the floor in front of you, would you get down on all fours and do the same?? you did not grow up here act like it.
