Can't download shit to entertain me, or I can if on VPN.

Never had this problem. It can be slow sometimes but I haven't experienced it blocked before. Maybe you can check your settings. Apple has this idiotic thing about your ID. Certain apps can't be downloaded if the country doesn't have it.

I don't pay for Itunes. I hate, when Apple try to sell me 'accessories'!

I'm using free download at FrostWire. No VPN needed.

I couldn't connect to iTunes so far...even I waited for hours. I don't know what is the problem with my pad. In fact I didn't need so far but still unable to connect.

It's hit or miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I downloaded a new game from the App store just the other day, and get updates for other apps pretty regularly. Can't connect to either the iTunes or App store right now. I've never used a VPN.
