Q: Ever have the sudden urge to start doing pull-ups on the subway/bus handrail?

The thought crosses my mind every day.

Bus hand rail? Yeah, but my head is always standing over / banging into it. If I tried to do a pull-up, I'd rage-smash my head against the roof or something stupid. But more often than not, I want to either whistle, or get out and flip the vehicle over and kick it into the rivers. Sadly, reality sets in.

Nah, like Hulk said, it's not high enough. I prefer to do pull-ups with a bar above my head. Besides, if I want to do pull-ups on a low bar I have one in my apartment.

May I suggest a fun bus exercise? When the bus is about to make a 90 degree turn, hold one handrail at arm's length and try not to fall over onto a hotty. Or an old lady. Or flat on your face. For even more fun fill a backpack with books and a laptop and try again!

Fun for all!

Yes, do pull-ups, or just hold on and hang your body.

I do pullups on the upper rail on the subway carts occasionally. I haven't seen anybody else do it so I have no competition.....

I often do incline pushups on the bus and also on the subway as well in the center where they have that metal handrail...devil

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
