Q: Ever phoned up one of those people who send scam messages to your phone?
I know it would be pretty stupid to do so but I also wonder what type of people are on the other line and where they are calling from etc. Has anyone ever phoned them up or texted them back and given them a piece of your mind?

These days when they call on the house phone I ask one simple question and they hang up
What do I ask?
so what are you wearing ?
Male or Female they always hang up
I send them super abusive texts back in English. I won't write what I say here, but suffice to say it's not nice 
I heard if you reply to a text message solicitation you incur additional charges on your phone bill but I'm not sure because I never bother to reply.

this is what I've been told too. I generally don't answer the phone if I don't have the number stored in my address book. If it's super urgent, I figure they'll call back again in a few minutes or send me a text message.

What you heard of is right.Never call back,i usually add the number to my phone's blacklist so that i won't be bothered again.

Thanks chenham, I should blacklist those numbers. I answer every call on my cell but I'm always polite. No sense in giving someone an earful if they dialed the wrong number.
I don't know if this is true or not but I was told (back in the UK) if you get one of the computerised calls (i.e. no-one there, they are just checking when you're at home) if you hit the hash ( # ) key a load of times it screws up their computer system.
No never bothered to. It's just a big waste of time.
There's an app where you can see from where the call was made. Whenever I got a missed call from an unknown number i would check the location. 90% of the time in came from Fujian or some other southern province and know straight away that it's scam. I wouldn't advise you to call it back.
