Q: Is Expat John?
I think hes a walking ,talking version of the book always good answers to anything, should be called Mr Encylopedia Brittanica human version
He and Mr. T give great answers. We should call them Wiki-John and Wiki-T.

xpat.john is qute helpful in his answers around here. As for beaufort whatever, I cringe at the imperialist attitudes sometimes.
My money is on TheDude. He offers forthright, experienced opinions and timely humour. Crimo, Freakboy and kchur add an edge that forums like this need.

I do agree Xpat John has good knowledge of China and also gives great answers...other than him I would say giadrosich and beaufortninja. 
John's answers are very impressive.... but I have to give credit to Happy as well.
Really, this is just becoming a popularity contest. Most people on here have their moments of clarity and offer good insight. Some just have more moments of clarity than others.
