Q: Is Expertise Education of Beijing Legit or a Scam?

The reason I ask is that my good friend received a offer just a few days ago that pays okay with an apartment included, but they told him he did not need a Z visa from them since he already has one from his current employer where he is resigning from. That doesn't smell right to me. What do you guys think - will that current Z visa be revoked when he resigns and what do you know about Expertise.  Trustworthy?

You often ask these BS questions when the answer is 100% obvious. You often make posts talking about illegal teachers and posting links to CFTU sites. How could you do both? Let me explain this . How can you not know the answer to this question when you at the same time post about illegal teachers, scams schools run on teachers. So as someone who knows so much about illegal teachers and scams, how can you not know the answer to this question.

For those who don't know: The company you work for must be connected to your Z visa/ resident permit.

Monsieur:

I made no reference to the CFTU. I also notice that the CFTU made no comment about Expertise Education.  YOU, and two other users on this forum are the ones who continuously drag them into every post I make. This leads me to believe those that keep smearing them are probably the recruiters talked about in these links here:

As for Expertise Education, a friend googled them for me with the key words of "China Expertise Education Scam" and found plenty of complaints and the fact they do not give Z visas to the teachers they recruit. That is all I needed to know.

The link you posted just now includes a link to china scam busters. A CFTU site. Also in that link you posted there is a post that talks about the CFTU being banned for exposing scam ads on ECC which is a bold faced lie.  You were banned for promoting CFtU websites on the answers forum.

You use the same tactics posting links to comments/ blogs you wrote under different aliases where you post a made up story and a link to a CFTU site.

I don't know exactly what type of scam you are running. But you have claimed that the CFTU can connect you to lawyers that would charge you 10k to cancel your contract which is a scam. You also report back to schools when teachers complain on one of your sites.

What we all should do is whenever we see this scammer let everyone know not to click on his links.

For anyone that cares... Recruiters pose as teachers on many forums and then do their best to protect their clients reputation whether they are good or bad.  I learned this and a lot more by reading the above links.

You could always just ask your buddy on Dave's cafe. He just asked this question. Funny thing is, he asks a lot of the same questions you ask and gets the same response... it's a hell of a coincidence when you think about it

Why are you wasting our time with this "question"? You damn well know the answer, the amount of time you profess to spend on ESL forums.

He doesn't need a Z visa. He just needs to show the boss his jj. If his new boss returns the favour then the deal is done. This is how things are done in China.

Depends on how you define scam Monsier.......

Sometimes it is the FT's "scamming" their Chinese counterparts...........fake illnesses, fake degrees, fake credentials, foreign  recruiters (cough, cough, ahem) posing as "helpful advisors"..............

Of course the best way to know is just to ask them yourself, they wouldn't lie to you.......nobody tells lies in chinar, especially not foreigners..........

Let him go, then report him to the PSB and collect your 5000 RMB. I would have thought that would be a no brainer for you.

Did expertise education not pay their protection money or something?

I think that's what the CFTU scam network might be about...they make this mouthpiece trying to look like it's got some clout and then bad mouth certain people they target.

Nobody who lives in china would believe in the CFTU cult or The Leader could possibly exist because nobody has ever met anyone in real life who is a member.

But they can discourage somebody who is thinking about coming over who doesn't know how ludicrous that network is.

RiriRiri:

Yeah you're right, sounds like blackmail.

http://www.expertiseedu.com I can't attest of their professionalism obviously but their website seems honest enough and they have a phone number and address. Plus they typically look like the kind of business who wouldn't give a shit about being threatened by a little prick.

Monsieur:

What blackmail are you referring to? Who is the victim? Where are the links to the complaints and claims? How much money was involved? When exactly did this happen?  Your allegations are getting old and lame Expatlife26.  If someone was really getting blackmailed or extorted on a regular basis like you accuse, there would be plenty of people screaming about it.  I happen to agree with these 27 teachers who posted here:

It's not necessary RPermit must be revoked once you changed employer.

I quit RP sponsor for contract violation, and signed new Contract with school in the same Province (Liaoning). We visited PSB with new employer, and they told us to come back two weeks before RP expiration, and PSB will extend RP further.= 'changing employer in the same Province'

However, I quit 'new' employer too, and signed Contract with School in different Province (Xinjiang).

Same happened in Xinjiang: 'visit to PSB, and come back before expiration of RP'.

I had to supply Release letter and Cancelation FEC Certificate to both new employers.

Both resignation were done in 2012/13 with SAFEA's help.
