Q: F Visa Convert to Student Visa
Can possible convert F visa to student visa (X) if i want to take a admission in college for learn long term chinese language course? one college say me if i have f visa then they can make for me student resident visa. So my question is if i have f visa then what type of symble resident visa they can make for me?

If it's for 1 year, you'll most likely need a residence permit within your passport, whereas if it's for 6 months or less, all you'll need is a temporary residence slip.
but yea, it's possible to go from F to student visa. I don't know if having an F visa makes it any easier to obtain the latter, but it's possible.
doesnt really matter if you have f or x visa. usually f is for study below 6 month and x for study of more than 6 month. basically u can also change ur tourist visa into a residence permit for study of 1 year or more. officially the rules might be different, but everything is possible
