Q: Fantastic service from a Chinese service, ever had this?

the  other day, I mentioned to a China guy that my couch springs were all broke  (springs not broke but their connection to the frame) and of  course the "Made in China" jokes I always make when something breaks. He said he'd get a guy to fix it in a few days.

I said great.

today some guy came and took my sofa/couch at about 11:30 a.m. ...  at 5:30 p.m. he brought it back, all fixed. It is my couch, the one that came with the rental place just wasn't good enough for me.

then smart me, flipped it over to see what kind of work they did....  I busted a leg off it... while the fix it guy was still here.

I did not see their work, because they put  a new cover on the underside. (above and beyond the call of duty.) the guy took the leg and said he'd fix it...  a little spot weld/solder has to be redone.

should've busted the other ones too and got them all redone properly.

170RMB, half day service for a couch repair that I been fighting with for a few months.....  I am impressed with the service and, I suppose, only time will tell with the quality of the work.

But I am guessing it is better than the original manufacturers work for local sales items.

I am happy....  good China day

I'm fortunate that good service has been the norm for me here.
