Q: Finding chirimoya/sweetsop in Beijing.

I'm starting to miss this awesome fruit. I could find it on Taobao, but it's awfully expensive - around 35 yuan for one. Apparently they are imported from Taiwan, and they are not really the same.

Do they sell these babies anywhere in Beijing?

I hope GuilinRaf sees this post, he will know what a "chirimoya" is, and maybe where to get it in Beijing.

I have not seen them in a long time.

You can try the foodstreet at WangFuJing....they have a place called Tawain street that apparently sells all types of foods and other things that are from Tawain such as toys for kids there. It's a place in WanfuJing if your not sure where it is you can ask somebody around there or just look it up on a map it's called Tawain street or something similiar to that. If it's candy they are sure to have it there because I saw them selling all types of candy that I had never ever seen before! Good luck!
