Q: Flatmate is an early morning bathroom Spitter/Hacker, who do I politely tell them to stop?

My room is right next to the bathroom and I wake up to that sound every morning. How do I ask them to stop nicely?

being upfront about your annoying habits and anything you find annoying. It clears the air so there us no bullding-up of resentment that could explode.

i do this whenever i am sharing a place with someone.

might not be PC but small things can be irritating  and lead to greater problems, especially if the space is confined

Chinese people are saying and they mean it: "don't think too much" or 'you're thinking too much!' Well, you simply say it and let him appreciate whether you're polite or not. I know, you would like to tell him in an impolite manner, because you're already pissed off. Well, cool down and no feelings, or bad feelings...just say it and let him know what's bothering you. As Sorel said already, you're risking much trouble later. Be polite, I mean be at peace with yourself and words will come easy and very naturally. Let us know how it goes!
