I have recently been following the disturbing news on the Chinese food safety record, and has been thinking alot about how to protect myself and my family. Chinese friends say that its best to avoid streetfood and the smaller restaurants, which might be using fake oil or dangerous products. Do anyone know if food bought in supermarkets like Jingkelong is safe?
Chinese also advised me to try and mostly visit restaurants belonging to chain stores, i would also like to ask if anyone knows about which chainstores can be considered as safe?
