Does it still exist? Does the younger generation still believe in all these things or is it dead?
They still exist, although they may be moar of a tradition than a real superstition. for example, you never get to see someone hitting someone else with a broom, because it's considered bad luck for the hitter.
It's like in Europe. Do you really believe you'll have bad luck if you break a mirror? Still, few people would break a mirror.
When a superstition lives long enough, it can be considered a tradition, from my very humble opinion.
"Suan ming", or fortune telling has a long history in China, people used to ask a fortune-teller to predict his future, including the aspects of marriage, job, life span. If the prediction is bad, people will ask for future advice to change their luck.
In modern life, although most younger people don't believe in :suan ming", there are still people surrounding the fortune-teller to ask about their future.
Besides, nowadays young people are getting more and more interested in constellation. Mainly in the aspect of marrige, they want to find out which sign star is the best match to theirs.
