Q: Is France trying to hide the fact that this was a terrorist attack?

Witnesses heard that catch phrase, Isis says he was a soldier. Can we get an ID and background on this guy.

This is about the Paris knife attacks

Don't seem to be trying to hide it from what I have read.

" France "will not yield an inch to the enemies of freedom," President Emmanuel Macron said after the attack, praising officers for "neutralizing the terrorist."

Everyone reports he yelled that crazy thing they like to yell and that he was a young man w/ a beard.   In W. Europe all code words for saying he was a fanatic muslim.

what I want to know is who did he murder?  what a way to go, they make it sound like just some random tourist over to see Paris and some nutcase stabs u to death.  Really sucks.  Well W. Europe kinda brought this on themselves.  This misplaced compassion nonsense.  Invited sworn enemy into their home.  Not too bright people, not too bright.

Early reports were that they weren't yet looking into it as terrorism. I guess the details of what he said getting out forced their hands. They knew before anyone else. Any word yet on whether he was an immigrant, refugee or citizen?

And if you are still for letting anyone in from regions that hate and have a history of doing this then you're just being a dick at this point.

I read on yahoo news they have their anti terrorism guys working on it.

I guess they don't want to come out and declare anything until it's certain - sort of like how the police and media have to say the 'alleged' killer until the guy has been convicted.

This isn't really related, just something I've often wondered... when those dickheads scream that catch phrase... is it something people in that part of the world say all the time that doesn't necessarily have any real meaning - much like I say Jesus Christ, oh hell, goddamn and probably other biblical inspired curses too?

I'm not Christian and when I say things like that it's with no thought at all to any religious connotations - it's just something you yell, it has no literal meaning.

I know when they're about to detonate their suicide vests they shriek their god is great thing but would that be the only time you hear it, when they're about to kill some infidels?

What would happen if you're lined up waiting to buy a lottery ticket for example and the Arabic guy in front of you just found out he won the big one? Would he yell god is great then?

Or if the same dude locked his keys in the car? If he did yell that people might freak out, it would be a shame if some harmless immigrant got shot because everyone mistakenly thought he was just about to get stabby.

I don't know about France, but here is report from 'Zero':

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-05-12/one-victim-killed-attacker-dea...

Attacker "Shouting Allahu Akbar" Killed In Paris Mass Stabbing; ISIS Claims Responsibility

At least one person is dead and eight others injured during a mass-stabbing at the Place de l'Opéra in central Paris.

Paris police have yet to identify the motive of the attacker and determine whether the attack was linked to terrorism, although ISIS was quick to claim responsibility.

Several media outlets, citing witnesses, reported that the assailant shouted “Allahu Akbar” ("God is great" in Arabic) as he attempted to charge at the diners in one of the restaurants at the scene. One witness, identified only as Fiona, told the Independent that the visitors of a local restaurant barricaded themselves inside against the rampaging attacker.

ISIS claimed the Vegas shooter as one of theirs. Bump stocks were almost banned, but Trump met the NRA and reversed.

On the same day as someone died in a knife attack in Paris, there were multiple shootings in the USA. I seem to recall there was a dude who shot his wife and kids dead, another where a dude shot his wife and inlaws.

Population of Europe is what? About 550 million, USA about 330 million.

A Checksian (spelling sorry) guy stabs kills a random person in Paris with a knife shouting some religious chant, and it becomes an issue of immigration, leberal and socialist policies (Macron is a centrist by the way).

Trump tweets about it.

The mass shootings in the USA on that day were domestics. Nowt to see here. Move on. But think about buying more guns. We need more guns, cos look... Europe has gun control. And someone got stabbed. Need guns, Europe needs guns.

But the Palastinians are not allowed guns. The Palastinians are confused over right and wrong. Isreal is a benevolent occupying force, not at all tyranical.

France is already a muslim country, they just don't know it yet, the jews and millionaires have been leaving in swarms for the last five years, those top 1 percenters do 30 percent of the spending in an economy and they are leaving. The best you can hope for is a moderate crash to be another Moroco but it's probably going to be Iran in the 70's and then crash to a Somalia by the end of the century. Good riddance, never like the Frogs even if I fought for them, rude stuck up folks should all die and America is not going to help them this time.

A:Wow, you really found that nitpicky talking point that elevates the fossil fuel industry to the same level as the interests of humanity. Isn't it all just a "liberal" scam, if you don't look too closely at the absence of logic? "Yes, it must be. My masters are hinting that that's what I should believe!"

You've made it clear you are consciously ignoring the pollution and global warming. Since your handlers, the conservative establishment whose dismantling of the carbon credit system and environmental destruction you choose to ignore, have made it clear you should bark in this direction, you are eager to please!

Such an admirably domesticated, dependable, subservient human. I'm sure your handlers will throw you a bone while they bring home the bacon for themselves. You're so obedient, you deserve a doggie cookie! Who's a good boy? You are! Yes, you are. U-S-A! Woof woof woof! -- coineineagh
