Does anyone have the details for what I need to get money transferred from a foreign company (US) to an account in Bank of China? The bank lady said I must present an employment contract, this must have a valid stamp, signature etc. in original.
Do I really need a paper document sent by post from my employer to be able to receive money?
This would suck a bit when doing freelance tasks for different companies. Who in the civilized world relies this heavily on paper ?
The trigger for the paperwork appears to come from the fact that the funds originate from a company owned account and goes to a privately owned account. Could I simply have my employer cash my salary and do a transfer from a colleagues private account to my private account in BOC?

The reason for this is to avoid money-laundering schemes. TTs must be signed for and you must have proof that the funds are for personal use vice taxable income (business money). I had this same problem in GZ whereby I had to declare the funds arriving in my account from Canada were for personal use. The BOC kept demanding that I open a business account. Lots of trouble.
I got never these problems in CCB, they usually asked and i said is just for personal use.
Money send my brother from the company account.
The funny part is, when I asked them, why they need to know this, they said to avoid me do some bad things. Do they think, if I want to do bad things, i will tell them the truth ?
