Q: Getting another police check before I need to leave China

I have just accepted a job offer outside of China. They require a police check. I lived in Guangzhou for three years and just moved to Shenzhen a month ago. I previously got a police check in Guangzhou back in 2023. Would I be able to get a second one from Guangzhou, even though I don't live there anymore? If yes, is it just a matter of showing up at the same office with my passport?
