I am wondering what the average cost for VPN's are in China, I heard around 200 rmb for 6 months?

I currently pay USD 20 per month, but the package does also include way more than just a VPN, such as some online storage etc
There are free VPNs available. And, I have seen paid VPNs as expensive as $99 per year. Just a matter of preference I guess.

think I pay $10.00 per month and I am reasonably satisfied

no I'm not happy ... oh wait, it is OK again ..all good, oh wait, it is good most days
Yeah it's really not much. I have a $100/yr VPN I use for my home router and a $50/yr VPN I use on my phone.
Really I don't see much difference in performance either. They both are good enough for streaming decent video at all but peak hours and seem like they download around the same speed.
If you're on a budget, you can get one for $50 that'll work perfectly fine...when my service runs out i'd probably just get two of the cheaper version.
I've just been looking at those options today.
Prices do vary, but I'm looking more for reliability than price... there's no point in paying a lot (or being cheap), and then not being able to connect.
Unfortunately, it appears that even the best gets blocked regularly.
I found a website that specifically details VPNs for China - but the comments section indicates that none of the 3 recommended ones is problem free :(
I found one for iphone called Onavo, that works on iOS operating systems, but not Windows. It's free as well, so thats a bonus. But I shall keep looking. Thanks for all the tips so far!
I pay 8 USD/months, it's been working fine for years. It works on any system (phone, computer, Windows, Linux, OSX) with zero setup required. There's a gotcha : you can only use it to browse, you can't use it to do things like file transfers, remote accesses, etc.
Good question but please no names. Even if the account PMs you. Just a little bit cautious with the slew of newbie posters asking about vpns over the last 2-3 months.
